After undergoing the autologous blood therapy, you are fully able to resume your social life the very next day and have no health-related restrictions. Sports, sauna visits, and personal care activities like washing your hair are also possible starting the day after the treatment. Microneedling must not be used on active herpes infections. Injured or superinfected skin should also not be treated. Immediately after a facial microneedling session, you may experience slight redness and possibly minor swelling. Additionally, mild flaking may occur over a period of 2-3 days.
